About Founder

Lara Pfleiderer

Lara grew up in Germany and lives part time in Cape Town since 2005. Coming from the corporate field (B.Sc. in business administration) Lara realised the importance of balance: she has always been an advocate of a healthy lifestyle and the regular practice of yoga helped her to balance her daily stressful life.

In 2017 she decided to follow her passion and changed her career into the wellness industry. During a gap year she experienced different kind of retreats and wellness concepts (yoga hotel in Germany, yoga retreat in Bali, clean eating retreat in Mallorca, an ayurvedic cur). This jouney inspired her to create her own holistic retreat in her second home, South Africa. For her Cape Town / the Western Cape is a really unique place with a special energy.

After also having worked for a natural cosmetic online-shop in Berlin, Lara’s vision is to create a holistic wellbeing & lifestyle concept incorporating natural beauty in addition to yoga and healthy nutrition – offering the best out of her experiences at unique places around the world. She completed her 200hours Vinyasa teacher training (RYT200) at the Shala in Cape Town in September 2019.

Lara has also a passion for interior design, the right design can give a place such a magical atmosphere and character (Icaria). She loves to explore new hidden places and shares her favourite authentic spots in and around Cape Town, always seeking for conscious & holistic business concepts.

Being natural, grounded and authentic is one of the most important things for her. It is always fascinating to connect to like-minded people from around the world and listen to their individual life stories… that inspires her the most.
